US army considers sending women to front line

The US Army was reportedly examining a policy shake-up today which critics believe could send women soldiers into ground combat.

According to internal Army documents, some in the military are pressing for an end to rules which ban mixed-sex non-combat groups being deployed alongside all-male fighting forces.
