We've convicted al-Qaida supporters, says Iran

Iran acknowledged for the first time today it has convicted some Iranians of supporting al-Qaida.

“A few pro-al Qaida Iranian nationals have been tried and convicted,” said foreign ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi.
