Kidnappers demand ransom for son of Sarajevo soccer player

Kidnappers have demanded a ransom for the return of the seven-year-old son of a former professional Sarajevo soccer player.

Mirza Varesanovic, a former player and now director of the local premier league club FC Sarajevo, last saw his son Mak, on Wednesday night when he picked him up from school and walked him across the street to the door of the family’s apartment building, the Oslobodjenje newspaper reported.
