Baghdad car bomb injures civilians

Insurgents detonated a car bomb in southern Baghdad early today and caused an unspecified number of casualties, eyewitnesses said.

The bomb exploded as a US military convoy was passing by in the Dora area of southern Baghdad and injured Iraqi civilians, eyewitnesses said.
