Fatah leader killed in Nablus

A senior official of the Palestinian Fatah party was shot dead in the Balata refugee camp tonight, party officials said.

Nasser Badawi, 37, was walking at the entrance to the camp in Nablus when three gunmen in a taxi opened fire, killing him, the officials said.
