Supporters of Ukraine’s opposition leader Viktor Yushchenko have broken off compromise talks with Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych, who was declared winner of the presidential election, according to reports.

Supporters of Ukraine’s opposition leader Viktor Yushchenko have broken off compromise talks with Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych, who was declared winner of the presidential election, according to reports.

Yushchenko’s campaign chief Oleksandr Zinchenko accused authorities of trying to drag out the talks, the Interfax news agency said.
