A remote-controlled bomb exploded near a vehicle carrying soldiers from the NATO-led security force in Afghanistan, injuring three of them, the alliance said today.

The home-made bomb damaged one of the two military vehicles carrying the soldiers on a routine patrol near the northern city of Kunduz yesterday evening, a military statement said.
