Israeli officer accused of pumping bullets into child

An Israeli army officer was charged today with repeatedly shooting a 13-year-old Palestinian girl to make sure she was dead – an illegal practice known as verifying the kill.

Military prosecutors issued indictments against the officer, including illegally using his weapon, obstruction of justice, conduct unbecoming an officer, and improper use of authority.
