Two die in Pakistan cinema blast
A bomb exploded in a cinema in north-western Pakistan today, killing two people and injuring 29 others, including a man who was suspected of being involved in the blast.
The explosion happened after midnight at the cinema in Mingora, the main town in the hill resort district of Swat, about 75 miles north east of Peshawar, local deputy superintendent of police Kalam Khan said. The area is not known to have active Islamic militants or a history of sectarian violence.
