Bomb suspected in Dutch school blast

A suspected bomb blew the front door off a Muslim elementary school in a southern Dutch town and shattered windows across the street, days after a suspected Muslim radical killed a Dutch filmmaker, police said today. There were no reports of injuries.

Television news footage showed the burnt-out entrance of the school, which was empty at the time of the attack at around 3.30am (2.30am Irish time).
