British Prime Minister Tony Blair said he would press George Bush to make peace in the Middle East a key priority of the next four years after congratulating the US president on his election victory.

British Prime Minister Tony Blair said he would press George Bush to make peace in the Middle East a key priority of the next four years after congratulating the US president on his election victory.

Mr Blair also urged other European leaders to rebuild bridges with America after the damage to transatlantic relations caused by the Iraq War.
