Victorious Bush seeks to unify divided nation

George Bush pledged immediately to pursue his agenda on taxes and Iraq while seeking “the broad support of all Americans” after sweeping to a second term as US president.

A record 59 million Americans chose Mr Bush over Democrat John Kerry – the biggest popular vote by any president.
