US rescuers save toddler from well

Rescue workers pulled a 22-month-old boy to safety today, 13 hours after he fell into an abandoned Alabama well.

Jermere McMillan was playing with other children when he fell into the 14-foot-deep well in Frisno City. Police used earth-moving equipment to dig a separate shaft to reach him.
