Time 'running out for peaceful Fallujah settlement'

Iraq’s interim prime minister warned today that efforts to resolve the stand-off in Fallujah peacefully have entered their “final phase”.

Prime Minister Ayad Allawi warned that his patience is running short as he threatens “a military solution” to break Sunni insurgents’ hold over the city.
