Russian airliner evacuated after 'bomb' discovery

Passengers were evacuated from an airliner at Moscow’s Vnukovo airport today after the discovery of a device resembling a bomb in a passenger’s baggage.

The passenger was arrested and was undergoing questioning, said Gennady Ozyorsky, a duty officer at the Vnukovo police station.

A box with wires was found in the passenger’s bag, the ITAR-Tass news agency said.
