Portuguese fishing boat missing in storm with six crew

Rescue services launched a search early today for a fishing boat with six men on board that went missing in stormy weather off northern Portugal, officials said.

The boat was close to the port of Aveiro, about 155 miles north of Lisbon, when it disappeared during the night, said Aveiro harbourmaster Feliciano Moreira said.
