Emergency cabinet meeting called after Sinai attacks
Prime Minister Ariel Sharon convened an emergency Cabinet session today to discuss terror attacks at two Egyptian resorts crowded with Israelis.
The ministers were to meet at noon at the Defence Ministry in Tel Aviv, government officials said.
The attacks went off late yesterday when a car bomb and suicide bomber blew up at the Red Sea Taba Hilton resort in the Sinai Desert. A second car bomb exploded at the Ras Shitan resort further to the south.
At least 19 people were killed in the two attacks, several of them Israelis.
