Five suspected ETA members arrested

Police today arrested five suspected members of the armed Basque separatist group ETA in northern Spain, acting on information obtained in weekend raids that netted the group’s alleged leader.

The suspects were arrested in San Sebastian and Irun, both in Basque country, and in Pamplona in neighbouring Navarra, the reports said.
