Israeli town targeted in Palestinian rocket attack

Palestinian militants in Gaza today fired rockets at the Israeli town of Sderot despite a massive army operation meant to prevent such attacks, rescue services reported.

One person was lightly wounded in the attack, the rescue services said. One rocket landed near a college in the town, and a second near a sport stadium, they added.
