India: Blasts kill 14
Two explosions killed at least 14 people in India’s north-eastern state of Nagaland today, a police official said. Scores were wounded.
The first blast went off in a railway station in Dimapur, Nagaland’s commercial hub, killing 11 people and wounding many others, said C Kuki, an inspector in the city’s police control room.
Within minutes, a second blast occurred in a market in central Dimapur, killing three people and wounding an unknown number of shoppers, Kuki said.
