Mosul car bomb injures six US soldiers

A car bomb exploded in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul as a US military convoy was passing, wounding six American soldiers, the military said today.

Witnesses said the attack late yesterday wrecked an American vehicle. US troops sealed off the area.

Capt. Angela Bowman of the Army’s Task Force Olympia said five of the wounded soldiers have since returned to duty.
