Czech Republic's 'barbaric' treatment of children slammed

The government of the Czech Republic was under pressure tonight to end “barbaric” treatment of handicapped children.

Scottish Labour MEP Catherine Stihler said she was seeking European Parliament backing to demand EU government action against the Czech practice of keeping such children in caged beds.
