Clinton heart op under way

Former President Bill Clinton was moved to a New York hospital operating theatre early today for a heart bypass operation.

Preparations began at about 6.45am (11.45am Irish time) in an operating theatre at Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia in upper Manhattan.
