Bill Clinton admitted to hospital

It has been reported that former US president, Bill Clinton, has been admitted to hospital for heart surgery.

According to reports, Mr Clinton went to a hospital near his home in Westchester, New York state, in recent days suffering from chest pains.

He was then transferred to the hospital in New York City.

According to ABC News, Mr Clinton may face quadruple bypass surgery at the hospital, which is considered as one of the leading institutions in the US.

Mr Clinton’s wife, New York Senator Hillary Clinton, was not with him when he was admitted to hospital, her office said.
