More than 20 people were treated for eye irritations today after pepper spray was released into the shopping area Washington office building.

More than 20 people were treated for eye irritations today after pepper spray was released into the shopping area Washington office building.

Police Commander Cathy Lenier said a group of youngsters apparently released the pepper spray inside the building, three blocks from the White House.

Authorities blocked off the area and several ambulances were summoned.

An FBI official said the incident was apparently the work of teenagers and didn’t involve terrorism.
