Schoolchildren hurt in bomb attack

A powerful bomb exploded at a busy morning market in Thailand’s troubled Muslim south today, killing one person and wounding at least 31 others, including schoolchildren, soldiers and police and swho were marching in a parade.

Separately, a hand grenade blew up in a nearby district and wounded three people.
