The father of a newly-wed hairdresser who was shot dead in her home will appear in court today charged with her murder.

Terry Rodgers, 55, disappeared weeks after giving his daughter, Chanel Taylor, away at her wedding after she was gunned down in Nottinghamshire, England.

He was captured two days ago in woodland near Hucknall, Notts, following a massive search operation involving more than 400 police officers.

Rodgers, who was living with his 23-year-old daughter at her home in New Street at the time of the incident on July 30 this year, will appear before Mansfield magistrates later.
