Palestinian knifeman shot dead

An Israeli border police officer today shot and killed a Palestinian attacker who stabbed him in the neck in Jerusalem’s Old City, police said.

The attacker stabbed the officer in the neck, Jerusalem police spokesman Shmuel Ben-Ruby said. The officer shot and killed him, he added.

The police officer was moderately wounded, police spokeswoman Sigal Toledo said.
