Lebanese villagers have turned a traditional recipe into what could become the latest Guinness Book of Records entrant by making a 720-metre long sandwich.

The “Labneh,” or strained yoghurt, sandwich was made Friday by more than 700 people from Kfar Qatra, a village 15 miles southeast of Beirut, village deputy mayor George Maalouf said.
