Refugee massacre in UN camp

Dozens of unknown assailants attacked a UN refugee camp in western Burundi, shooting and hacking to death at least 150 Congolese refugees, witnesses and local officials said today.

An additional 30 people died in the hospital following the attack on the refugee camp near the border with Congo, said Isabelle Abric, spokeswoman of the UN mission in Burundi.
