Circus tiger escapes, strolls through New York

A white tiger escaped from a circus in New York and went on a half-mile stroll through the city.

The animal, named Apollo, was safely recaptured on Saturday in the Queens section of the city – but not before the sight of him on a main traffic route caused a multi-car accident. Four adults and one child suffered minor injuries.
