Family pleads for hostage's life
The family of an Indian hostage threatened with beheading by an Iraqi militant group has promised that the captive will never accept a job from an American company if he is set free.
“We have sent our son to earn money and improve the condition of the family, not to fight with you,” Harvinder Singh, the brother of hostage Sukhdev Singh, said in a message to the militants in the northern Indian village of Makrona Kalan.
