Two Palestinians killed in blast attack

Two Palestinians were killed when their car exploded in Gaza City today, witnesses and medical officials said.

The blast occurred as the white Subaru was travelling in the Zeitoun area of the city. Witnesses said Israeli helicopters were flying overhead at the time.

The Israeli military said it was not aware of the incident.

Israel frequently targets Palestinian militants with missiles fired from helicopter gunships.
