Israeli warplanes fired at least four missiles at a Palestinian base near Beirut today, an official with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command has said.

Israeli warplanes fired at least four missiles at a Palestinian base near Beirut today, an official with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command has said.

The attack targeted a base of the PFLP-GC in the hills of Naameh, about five miles south of the Lebanese capital.

It was the second such Israeli air strike against the area just over a month.

There were no report of casualties.
