Humberside Police Authority in Britain today delayed making a decision on the future of its chief constable until the completion of legal proceedings.

Humberside Police Authority in Britain today delayed making a decision on the future of its chief constable until the completion of legal proceedings.

Authority chairman Colin Inglis said his members had agreed by a majority of 15 votes to two to adjourn the issue of the suspension of David Westwood pending the outcome of legal proceedings beginning in the High Court today.
