Britons die in 1000ft plunge

Two British climbers fell 1,000ft to their deaths in south eastern Switzerland today, police said.

The 43-year-old woman and 30-year-old man, who were not identified, were roped together when they slipped during an ascent of the 10,850ft Piz Badile, Graubuenden police said.
