UN helicopter crash kills 24

A UN helicopter crashed in Sierra Leone today, killing all 24 peacekeepers, aid workers and others aboard, a UN spokeswoman in the West African nation said.

Victims aboard the Russian-made Mi-8 also included the Russian crew, UN mission spokeswoman Sharon McPherson said.
