Eleven killed in Kashmir village attack

Eleven people were shot to death in a raid on a village in Indian-controlled Kashmir, police said today.

Fifteen others were wounded in the attack late yesterday in the hilly Surankot region, 190 miles north of Jammu, the winter capital of India’s Jammu-Kashmir state, a police officer said.
