Five killed in Indian bus blast

A bomb blast in a crowded bus killed at least five people and critically wounded 17 today in the north-eastern Indian state of Assam.

The explosion near Mathurapur, 224 miles east of the state capital, Gauhati, blew the bus apart, the officer said on condition of anonymity.
