Bomb explodes at Bangladesh election rally

A bomb exploded at an opposition rally in north-eastern Bangladesh today, wounding nearly 40 people.

Suranjit Sengupta, an MP from the Awami League party, had just finished addressing hundreds of supporters when the bomb went off near the wooden stage.
