Husband laces wife's body with poison to kill lion

A grieving husband laced the remains of his dead wife with poison and killed the lion that had mauled her to death, a regional police chief in Tanzania said today.

Selemani Ngongwechile, 72, found the body of his wife in the bush one day after the lion killed her in Lindi province, Simon Dau said.
