Gene therapy offers hope of cystic fibrosis cure

More than a thousand eminent scientists and doctors meet this week in the hope that they are moving closer to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis.

A highlight of the conference will a presentation by the UK’s Gene Therapy Consortium, whose research is exciting scientists searching for a cure for one of the UK’s most common life-threatening inherited diseases.
