Bombers target British consulate in Ecuador

A small bomb attributed to left-wing extremists exploded outside the British consulate in an Ecuadorian port but no one was injured.

The bomb detonated in Guayaquil late last night, capping a day of seven small blasts, including three in the capital, Quito.
