An American soldier was killed and two others injured when a bomb exploded near their patrol vehicle in southern Afghanistan today.

An American soldier was killed and two others injured when a bomb exploded near their patrol vehicle in southern Afghanistan today.

The explosion hit the soldiers’ Humvee near Deh Rawood, 250 miles south-west of Kabul, in troubled Uruzgan province, spokeswoman Lieutenant Colonel Michele DeWerth said
