Polish workers abducted in Iraq

Two Polish construction workers were abducted near Baghdad today, a Polish army spokesman said.

The two men were abducted from their apartment and forced into a car, before one of them escaped, said Lt Col Robert Strzelecki, spokesman for the Polish-led multinational division in Iraq.
