The European Union introduced a new health insurance card today to make it easier for citizens to get medical treatment when travelling within the 25-nation bloc.

The European Union introduced a new health insurance card today to make it easier for citizens to get medical treatment when travelling within the 25-nation bloc.

The card will replace temporary forms citizens were supposed to obtain from their local health authorities every time they travelled to another EU nation.
