Decision 'within weeks' on extra UK troops for Iraq

The British government will make a decision within weeks on sending more British troops to Iraq, British Prime Minister Tony Blair said today.

Mr Blair also said he hoped that within a year there would be substantially fewer British soldiers needed in Iraq.
