Casualties as another quake hits Iran
A 5.5-magnitude earthquake damaged homes in northern Iran today and there were reports of casualties.
Tehran radio, quoting officials in Qazvin province in northern Iran, said there were several casualties from the quake, but did not provide any numbers.
Officials at Tehran University seismological centre said the quake had a magnitude of 5.5 and its epicentre was in the village of Baladeh, 43 miles north-east of Tehran, close to the Caspian Sea.
