Iranian students besiege British embassy

Hundreds of hard-line students besieged the British Embassy in Tehran today in protest at the occupation of neighbouring Iraq.

Surrounded by riot police, about 500 students gathered in front of the embassy to condemn damage to a Shiite Muslim shrine in Iraq caused by fighting between US-led forces and insurgents, as well as abuse of Iraqi prisoners.
