Former England footballer Stan Collymore was bound over to keep the peace for 12 months today following a row with his estranged wife.

The ex-Liverpool, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest striker walked free from Stafford Magistrates’ Court after four charges, including making a threat to kill his wife Estelle, were withdrawn on condition that he accepted the bind-over in the sum of £500 (€735.80).
